Frequently Asked

Don't see your question here? We'd be happy to help!
  • What is therapy?
Therapy is an opportunity to explore and process difficulties related to behaviours, thoughts, feelings, emotions, memories and relationships. It is a confidential process designed to help you address your concerns, come to a greater understanding of yourself, and learn effective personal and interpersonal coping strategies. It involves a relationship between you and a trained Licensed Counselling Therapist who has the desire and willingness to help you accomplish your individual goals. Stephanie’s office is a safe, trauma-informed space that allows you to talk, explore your emotions, thoughts, and feelings. Therapy allows you to dig deeper, reframe your thinking and/or behaviours, improve your relationships, and your relationship to yourself. It allows you to place value on yourself, so you can show up better and as your most authentic self.
